The concept is good, as I dont care to listen to 3/4 of the podcast as commercials. However, it wont actually work. It starts to load, and just keeps on loading (I gave up waiting after 1 hour). I never could get the app itself to actually work. Maybe the next version will work.

I love Grammar Girl but this app does nothing... Its perpetually trying to load and never does. Dont bother.

Ignore this app. Its not ad free. Just get the podcast and save your money.

If you are interested in language you will definitely enjoy the app.

Is it possible to read the texts of the articles in this program? It looks like we cant do that.

Great succinct but detailed refreshers and lots of interesting tidbits!

Great podcast. Almost necessary app if you follow the podcast. I find the manual, wired sync with iTunes to be tedious. The app lets you get a new show anywhere you have a connection, without having to open iTunes on your iPhone.

I am so excited about this app. It works smoothly and provides great content.

Great application for a great podcast. Paying $1.99 is worth all the great tips you learn from the Grammar Girl.

I realize this is the "Grammar Girl - Podcast App" but it would be great to see a Grammar Girl "Tips" section added to the app. I enjoy getting my daily tips emailed to me. However, it would be even better to have something similar included in the app.

Im a new user of this app, and I love it. It has been updated so that users have access to all of the Grammar Girl podcasts. It has a search bar to help you find the right podcast for your grammar concerns. You can also e-mail Grammar Girl within the app, see her Twitter feed and her Facebook page, as well as get a glimpse into some extras thrown into the app as free gifts! I regret buying the Grammar App, which is another app that recently came out. It cost me a $1.99 and its basically a 1-dimensional Power Point/flash card app that teaches very basic grammar (no punctuation lessons included). Its more for ESL and grade school students than adults who want to fine-tune their grammar. The Grammar Girl app is the app you want instead!

This app has greatly improved. The new ad-free episodes are a nice bonus. Although Ive missed the weekly bonus episodes, the bonus content is still available and a great resource for any fan.

The app doesnt have backgrounding, so you have to have it open to listen. Also, only SOME of the episodes are ad-free. I bought the app because I like supporting podcasts I listen to. Whoever is updating and developing this app needs to take a look at the Today In iOs podcast app and make this one a bit more like it. Backgrounding is a must for this type of app! Looking forward to an update.

I love the Grammar Girl podcasts, and the app makes them very easy to download. The app is very unstable and buggy. It crashes often and many of the podcasts download as a jumbled, unintelligible mess.

I love hearing the weekly podcasts. However, when you try to listen to older podcasts the audio is too slow and unintelligible. Also, it is not so easy to search through older podcasts.

Stick with the free podcast. Most podcasts are not add free. Downloaded shows still buffer. You have to play them through QuickTime if you want them in the background and whichever way you play them they will not play one after another. App is very buggy and has trouble playing through Bluetooth.

This app is so great I am going to use it with my children. The app makes the podcasts easily accessible. Grammar Girl is helping me correct my poor grammar skills and helping me prevent the same problem in the education of my children.

Im an avid Grammar Girl podcast listener and I thought that this app could only make searching for new episodes a lot easier. Well, the app has more bugs than you can shake a stick at, and when you contact tech support via "@ Contact" NO ONE gets back to you! Some major issues that Im experiencing include: - Whenever I try to rewind, the app goes crazy and switches episodes - Buffer time is ridiculous on 3G - The app doesnt work in the background!!!! - The app will want to randomly switch episodes after you pause - Some of the so called "ad free" episodes actually have ads at the end Unless the GG app developer is working 24/7 to fix these issues, Id hold off and just use the iTunes app that comes on your iPhone.
